How to Find Your Dream Wedding Photographer

There are so many choices out there when it comes to wedding and engagement photography. I’m here to tell you that finding your dream photographer is so important! Bringing your vision to life is always the goal.
Not sure how to find your dream photographer? Don’t worry I’ve got some tips for that too and I’m so happy to share them with you!
KNOW YOUR STYLE you’ll hear a lot of terms when you start looking at photographers. “Light and airy”, “traditional”, “dark and moody” the list goes on and on. If you’re stuck here head to Pinterest and type in any of those keywords. If you like what you see and can imagine yourself in those photos, well it looks like you found your style!
CONSIDER LIGHTING once you find your style and reach out to some photographers, ask them how they shoot in different lighting situations. Light is truly one thing that can make or break a photo.
ASK THE OVERLOOKED QUESTIONS it’s important to ask about pricing, gallery delivery time and things of that nature, but I have some insider insight on this that may help your search. Ask your photographer what their approach to wedding photography is, are they a fly on the wall? Are they directing you? How are they going to make you feel comfortable and confident during your session?
MAKE SURE YOU MESH You want someone who will not only capture your wedding day and all the details, but also someone who you are comfortable and get along with. Because that photographer is going to be with you all day and all up in your business, so it’s important to make sure you vibe.
